Sierraware Introduces an Open Source Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) for 64-bit ARM Architectures
SierraTEE for Cortex-A53 and Cortex-A57 ARM TrustZone Reference Designs are Available for Download
Sunnyvale, CA, September 25, 2014 - Sierraware, the pioneer in virtualization and security, today announced the release of next generation open source TEE for ARM 64-bit architecture. The SierraTEE supports multiple operating systems, such as Linux, BSD, or Android on any 64-bit platforms utilizing Cortex-A53, or Cortex-A57 cores. With the additional SierraVisor, multiple concurrent guest systems can access the secure world provided by ARM TrustZone technology.
SierraTEE provides true 64-bit Global Platform Internal and Client APIs and development tools. SierraTEE also supports the full suite of ARM-v8 extensions for multicore and power management. This powerful open source stack enables OEMs developing a wide array of products, ranging from battery operated devices to military grade communication equipment, to take advantage of emerging 64-bit processors.
